Meet Penn Nursing Botswana 2010!

Trudy Kao is currently at Penn for the Family Health NP program. She is from Irvine, California and attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) for her B.S. in Biochemistry & Cell Biology. During her education at UCSD, she volunteered at a free clinic in downtown San Diego as well as one in Ensenada, Mexico. With her volunteer experience and love for traveling, Trudy became interested in participating in medical trips abroad. She sees this trip as an opportunity to learn about another country's culture and healthcare system. In the future, Trudy hopes to continue making yearly medical trips abroad.
